This scheme is valid for every woman who is more than 18 years old and has registered herself under Shramik Female. This scheme was launched by the government of MP in order to create a conducive environment that could help in the early identification of high-risk pregnancies, proper promotion of pregnant and child vaccination, safe delivery, breastfeeding, and healthy practices that need to be followed both by women and infants. Under this yojana, the women will have access to all the nutrition at the time of their pregnancy, and it was done to provide all the prenatal services to the women of the labor cadre family.
Benefits of Mukhyamantri Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana
- Cash assistance of Rs 16000 is provided to the women.
- The amount is provided in two installments.
- The first installment of Rs 4000 is provided to the women during their pregnancy.
- The second installment of Rs 12000 is payable at the government hospital at the time of delivery.
Purpose of Mukhyamantri Shramik Seva Prasuti Sahayata Yojana
The main objective of this scheme was to provide cash compensation for the wage loss to the women to allow them to take rest before and after their delivery of the first two live births. The other motive for this scheme was to provide cash incentives to the women so that their health conditions as pregnant women could be improved. To apply for this scheme, you need to fill out the application form by taking it from the block medical officer for rural areas and the civil surgeon hospital for urban areas, and then by attaching all the required documents, you could submit it again over there.
ELIGIBILITY
- The scheme is only for women workers in the unorganized sector, hence only they can avail the benefits by applying.
- Only those working women who are registered in the Labor Department will get the benefit of this scheme.
- To avail benefits under the scheme, it is mandatory for the woman to be at least 18 years of age.
- Only women native of Madhya Pradesh will get the benefit of the scheme.
- The benefit of the scheme will be available only to those women who have a maximum of 2 children.
- Only those women who deliver in the hospital will get the benefit of the scheme.
