Mukhyamantri Bal Hindu Upchar Yojana was launched in 2011 by the government of Madhya Pradesh. Under this scheme, children whose age is between 0 and 15 and who are infected with heart disease are provided with assistance for their successful and meaningful treatment. For this scheme, the government decided to give a total cost of Rs 15 crore, in which free treatment, operation, and all the cost of the medicines will be picked up by them for the successful treatment of the children who are suffering from heart disease.

  • Under this scheme, all the children infected with heart disease would be cured.
  • Good arrangements have been made for children’s tests, operations, and medicines in all the medicine colleges in MP.

Purpose of the Mukhyamantri Bal Hriday Upchar Yojana

The main objective of Mukhyamantri Bhriday Upchar Yojana was to provide treatment to children who are between 0 and 15 years old and are suffering from heart disease. The assistance provided under this scheme is according to the following criteria: for simple surgery, 1.3 lakhs are provided; for complex surgery, 1.5 lakhs are provided; and for valve replacement, 1.8 lakhs are provided. To be eligible for this scheme, the children and their families must be natives of Madhya Pradesh. To get yourself registered for this scheme, you must visit the official website, submit the required documents and details, and then submit the application.

ELIGIBILITY 

  • The scheme is being operated in all the districts of Madhya Pradesh state. Under the National Child Health Programme, people from all the states of the country can avail the benefits of this scheme. Children from birth to 18 years are eligible for the scheme.

Documents Required

  • Estimate of a government hospital or a private hospital recognized by the government.
  • Certificate of inability to get treatment due to financial weakness (including family list) – Officer authorized by Chief Executive Officer, Janpad Panchayat for rural areas. / In the urban area, the Chief Municipal Officer in the Municipal/City Council area and the officer authorized by the Commissioner in the Municipal Corporation area.
  • Proof regarding the age of the patient (Birth Certificate/Marksheet/Aadhar Card/Certificate attested by Panchayat/Certificate issued by other competent authority.
  • 2 recent passport size color photographs.

How to Apply 

  • To apply for the scheme, you will have to contact the Anganwadi worker. Or application can also be made to the nearest government hospital. People from other states should also contact the nearest government hospital and apply.
