Types of Sexual Dysfunction in Men and Women

Sexual pain may be caused due to a condition called vaginismus. In this condition, the muscles of the vaginal wall contract automatic during intercourse. Sexual Pain disorder in men is usually referred to as priapism. This is a painful erection that might sustain for several hours, even in the absence of sexual stimulation.
This condition is commonly caused by blood entrapment within the penis. If left untreated, this condition may lead to permanent loss of erection. However, some other conditions of sexual pain in men are a post-traumatic, urinary infection, prostatic inflammation yeast infection, skin disease and genital herpes.
